Export Format#

The left side of the “Export” tab allows to select an export format and configure an export target.

MPEG-H Production Format#

An MPF (short for MPEG-H Production Format) file is a multichannel WAV file which contains all the audio and metadata for the MPEG-H scene. The metadata is stored as a modulated signal for robust transmission over non bit-exact transport channels.

Export options are:

  • File Location: Location where the file will be saved.

  • Frame Rate: MPEG-H metadata is written based on the selected video frame rate.

  • Sample Format: 16, 24, or 32 bits.

  • Channels: 16 or 32 channels. The control track will be written to the last channel.

MPEG-H BWF/ADM#

An MPEG-H BWF/ADM (short for Broadcast Wave Format with embedded Audio Definition Model metadata) file is a multichannel WAV file which contains all the audio and metadata for the MPEG-H scene. The exported BWF/ADM file is compliant to the MPEG-H ADM Profile.

Export options are:

  • File Location: Location where the file will be saved.

MPEG-H MXF/S-ADM#

An MPEG-H MXF/S-ADM file is a Material Exchange Format file with embedded Serialized Audio Definition Model metadata which contains all the audio and metadata for the MPEG-H scene in a frame-based format. The exported MXF/S-ADM file will be compliant to the MPEG-H ADM Profile.

Export options are:

  • File Location: Location where the file will be saved.

  • Frame Rate: MPEG-H metadata is written based on the selected video frame rate.

Channel Mix#

This means rendering the scene for a specific speaker layout and writing the renderer output to a wav file.

Export options are:

  • File Location: Location where the file will be saved.

  • Rendering Layout: Downmix layout.

  • Sample Format: 16, 24, or 32 bits.

Note

Channel mix will render the first preset.

Edit Queue#

  • Add to Queue: Adds the current export configuration to the export queue.

  • Update Selected: If an export target is selected and edited, it can be updated in the queue.

Export Queue#

The right side of the “Export” tab list the defined export targets. One can select a target to edit it again or to delete it.
