Setup from Scratch#

Setting up a MPEG-H session from scratch:

  1. Create a new 48 kHz session.

  2. Select the MPEG-H Renderer.

  3. Create a Master Fader track with the width of your monitoring path and select “Renderer Out” in the I/O settings.

  4. Create a new stereo audio track.

  5. Select the track’s output as “MPEG-H Renderer” > “Create new bed” > “Stereo”

  6. Open the MPEG-H Renderer window to see the channel component.

  7. Select “Presets”, create a new preset, and assign the object component to that preset.

  8. Create a new mono audio track.

  9. Select the track’s output as “MPEG-H Renderer” > “assign as object”.

  10. A new object component appears in the renderer.

  11. Add this object component to a new or the existing preset.

  12. Start playback to hear the audio.
